A drinkware silhouette treated like ceremonial dress: cream ground, gilded ornament, and a single deep purple heart. It reads as heraldry before it reads as merchandise.

Design Story

The wraparound composition is built on a strict vertical axis. "LSU" anchors the top in purple block lettering with gold outline, "TIGERS" sits beneath in restrained small caps, and the eye then drops into an ornamental cartouche framing a bass drum flanked by brass horns and laurel scrollwork. Banner ribbons carry "Golden Band from Tigerland" and "Fight for LSU" in staggered scale, so the hierarchy resolves cleanly from a distance. Amethyst-toned jewel accents and fleur-de-lis motifs punctuate the gold filigree, while the pale ivory field supplies the negative space that keeps the density from collapsing. Tonal contrast does the work: cool purple against warm gold, ornament against calm ground.

Use & Experience

On a tall tumbler, that vertical stack is ideal — the emblem lands on the front-facing focal panel at eye level, ornament runs off the sides so the graphic keeps working as the vessel turns. The gilded handle and lid rhyme with the artwork's palette, giving the whole object one continuous visual language. High carry presence, low noise.
