The eye lands on the husky first. Centered, calm, unblinking, framed in a silver-toned ring against deep navy — a crest treated less like a mascot and more like a badge of belonging.

Design Story

The composition is built in tiers. A small banner at the top reads STORRS CONNECTICUT, then collegiate block lettering spells UCONN with HUSKIES underlined beneath it, then the emblem itself anchors the middle. Below, angled silver panels and thin red pinstripes break the navy field, with a small plaque graphic near the base. The illustration borrows the look of stitched paneling and brushed trim, giving the flat surface an armored, locker-room formality. Nothing rushes. The design earns attention by hierarchy and restraint rather than noise.

Use & Experience

On a vertical tumbler silhouette the layout reads perfectly: the wordmark sits at eye level, the emblem occupies the natural focal panel where a hand doesn't cover it, and the darker lower section grounds the shape. The wraparound navy carries the graphic around the curve without crowding, and the handle side keeps a quieter accent. It has real carry presence — bold, but wearable in a morning routine.
