Design Story

The focal panel is a gold basketball carrying the Los Angeles Lakers wordmark in purple, held by a skeletal hand that curves over the ball rather than crushing it — still, deliberate, quietly theatrical. Around it the composition wraps in layers: draped chain work, spun web motifs near the lid, marquise-cut amethyst and clear stones set like a collar, and two small gold skulls anchoring the base. The palette is disciplined — black, antique gold, royal purple — so the ornament never turns noisy. Vertical proportion does the rest, letting the eye climb from skulls to gems to logo to lid.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler silhouette, that centred focal panel sits exactly where the hand and eye land, while the darker upper and lower bands act as negative space and keep the graphic scale from overwhelming the form. The handle's black mass balances the gold detailing instead of competing with it. High carry presence, high statement level — a considered accessory for desk, courtside or late-October evenings.
