A composition built like a cast metal plaque: antique gold relief, deep shadow, and thin blue arcs running through the seams.
Design Story
The banner lettering sits at the top, anchoring the hierarchy before the eye drops to the figure itself. The warrior leans forward, one hand pushed toward the viewer in sharp foreshortening, and that single gesture carries most of the tension in the image. Everything else recedes into ornamental panelling, riveted borders, and a circular medallion bearing a single kanji. The palette stays disciplined β warm gold against near-black β so the cold blue lines read as pure charge. Small engraved word stacks and a lower plaque give the surface the cadence of an inscription rather than a poster.
Use & Experience
On a vertical tumbler silhouette the layout works in tiers: title band, figure, medallion, plaque. The focal panel faces forward, while the ornamental border carries the composition around the wraparound surface. Strong carry presence, high statement level.
