Some designs shout. This one just watches. A black raven perched dead centre in a circular disc, head turned, eye catching the light — and somehow that stillness lands harder than any action pose would.

Design Story

The composition is doing quiet, clever work. Behind the bird sits a stained-glass-looking arrangement of Gothic arches, trefoil rosettes and ivy leaves, segmented in amber, crimson, violet and bronze-toned lines. A pale golden halo of panes rises directly behind the raven's head, which is the whole trick: dark subject, luminous backdrop, instant focal point. The circular border wraps the arches inward so the eye keeps returning to the centre instead of drifting off the edge. Warm reds against cool violets give the palette tension without noise, and the ivy motif softens what could have been a purely severe design.

Window & Light Styling

As a round window hanging, this is built for a light-facing spot. The disc silhouette reads cleanly from across a room, the hanging chain accent keeps the circle centred in a pane, and the segmented artwork looks its best when daylight sits behind it. A statement hanging piece for a window, a doorway, or a shadowed corner that needs a focal point.
